5 Items On My Dream Board

Hiya you lovely lot,

 I keep seeing bloggers post about things that they desire so I thought I'd compile a short list of some things that I dream about for my future.

There is something that is reiterated in the business that I am in and that is to have a dream/goal board. This is so you can envisage having these items every day and therefore work harder to get them. It is your motivation. I do believe it works. It is very easy to say that you want tons of money but to know exactly what it is that you are working towards makes it so much more rewarding when you can tick it off.

This beautiful cottage gives me the feeeeeels. This is what I can imagine my dream home looking like from the outside. It will be cosy and modern inside without losing its character. There will be a fire and a wonderful big jacuzzi bath. I cannot wait to own my own home.

Santorini <3 I spent a day on this island as a young girl and even then I was memorised by its beauty and serenity. I would love to go back and take Chris with me. A two week 5* holiday would do us quite nicely!

This is a goal that I am working towards every day. I am currently a TA in a secondary school and loving near enough every minute of it. I love making an impact on children's lives and there is nothing better than leaving a classroom on a positive note. I loved school and I believe every child deserves the right to a superb education. Teachers are educating the next generation and I cannot wait to gain my official tittle of Miss McInerney, Teacher of English.

And every teacher needs beautiful stationary. I am a cute stationary lover. Although I stick to using the same few pens until they run out, I can't help but want everything in Paperchase. I love this nudey, creamy, golden colour theme that is popular at the moment! It makes everything look so fresh and pretty.
A little less in the future I am going to have enough disposable income to purchase a pair (or two) of these beauties. I just LOVE Converse's new nude range!

Joe Wicks' Paella

I was bought Joe Wicks' Lean in 15 cookbook by my lovely mum a few weeks ago. Last week, I had my friend Emily over for dinner and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to set myself a goal of cooking a freshly prepared and healthy meal for us. I chose to cook the paella. First of all I should add that this was never meant to be a full on paella that you would expect to eat in Spain. The idea of Joe's recipes are that they are quick, easy and fairly cheap for everyone to make. We had chicken and prawns as our main ingredients. I threw some peppers, onions and peas in too. Chucked in a pint of stock with Tumeric and Saffron (most expensive spice EVER apparently, but you only need a tiny bit so the pot gets a lot of use). I then put some Uncle Ben's vegetable rice in the microwave, zapped it and then bung it in the pan. I used my wok for this as I needed a big saucepan and this was the biggest I could find. Growing up with a less than simple childhood and teenage years I learnt that writing things down always helped make sense of what was going on in my head.
